I am the mom of two beautiful girls and one furry boy (our 1 yr old rescue min pin/beagle mix). Our oldest daughter, Dinah (7 yrs), is the inspiration of a lot of things in our lives, including this blog. Dinah was a 24 week preemie and now has Spastic Triplegic Cerebral Palsy, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, and severe developmental delays. She may be missing a few markers (currently she does not walk or talk), but she sure is MAKING UP FOR THEM with the ones she does have. Our youngest daughter, Kaylin (2 1/2 yrs), has enough energy to fuel a jet plane. She is a joy to parent. I am a registered nurse by occupation. I enjoy reading, cooking, writing, working out, and spending time with my family. My wonderful husband, Velte, is my backbone and may write blog posts occasionally.
I live gluten-free and aim to eat and live as healthy as possible. This includes the mental, emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of living.
We hope to inspire hope.
